Carlos Suarez
Carlos has worked in the international non-profit landscape for several years at JCI (Junior Chamber International), producing events that inspire, build capacity and share key messages to a large and diverse membership base. He’s worked on events ranging in size from small to 10,000 participants – locally and in South America, Europe and Asia. Carlos has also been responsible for leading and overseeing the JCI Global Partnership Summit with high-level speakers and delegates at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City.
Carlos has a strong set of skills from leadership, planning, project management, budgeting, relationship building and collaboration. His work in the last 1.5 years has also been with producing thought-leadership events in the medical innovation and geospatial technology sectors. Having produced events in non-traditional venues, he’s diligently worked to tell the story of brands to their audience.
Doug Curtis
Doug Curtis has a strong background in the audio-visual design of event productions. He founded Clockwork Productions 11 years ago. Before that he worked both as a project manager for a commercial audio-visual contracting company (Savi, LLC) and at the Ritz-Carlton St. Louis, where he worked with many Fortune 500 companies for their meetings and special events.
Doug graduated from Webster University in 2008 with his Master’s in Business Management. Aside from event production Doug has a passion for the startup community. Doug was also contracted to work for a startup sunglass manufacturer, Peakvision Sports in a business development/brand management role. His experience at trade shows was invaluable in understanding branding as it relates to event marketing.
